Taking photographs and producing images make me think, it takes me outside of my normal. I love the creativity extracted from within a fixed process and its transference from a purely subjective or imaginative state to a observable form.

Images for me do not require descriptions or language to understand them. Yes it can be helpful in providing understanding of their context or narrative, I however believe it’s just good to look. Images are after all transnational and transcultural, they show the things words can’t say and shouldn't be bound by vocabulary.

The images I produce are for myself as an isolated viewer. However if by chance others find something within them that attracts or speaks to them I am happy for a kindred spirit.
